Vital support for local Ice Hockey player - 14/08/2012
Vital Rail’s Henley in Arden branch is to sponsor young ice hockey player, Corey Goodison
Aged 15, Corey has played for Solihull Junior Barons for the past 3 years. Corey started by playing forward but after being asked to play in defence in his second season; he has gone from strength to strength.
Last season Corey was invited to attend conference trials for North Midlands at the Nottingham Arena. Although he didn’t get picked this time, the experience put him in good stead for this coming season.
During the 2011-2012 season, Corey played 18 league games – nine at home and nine away at Whitley Bay, Bellingham, Flintshire, Hull, Sheffield, Nottingham, Telford, Coventry and Bradford.
Paul Davis, Vital Rail’s Operations Manager at Henley said: “This is a great opportunity to support a local budding ice hockey star and I’m sure Corey will have a fantastic 2012-2013 season”.
